Fact No. 1 - Eco-consciousness
In 2009, I led an initiative to replace 90%+ of our company's wood based (MDF) products with U.S.A. made "green" material that is created from 99.9% pre-consumer waste.  The company fully adopted and implemented this strategy for conservation of resources in early 2010. Sales and market share both increased by over 20% in the year following introduction and have continued with steady annual growth through strategic marketing and partnerships.  http://is.gd/xdQTWL 

Fact No. 2 - State Made
Additionally, in 2011 we stopped buying our most popular highest volume product from China in favor of producing it and processing it 100% domestically.  This is almost unheard of in the U.S.A. craft market for tile.  We employ local disabled individuals to aid in the packaging process.  Total product costs nearly doubled, but to our surprise, our customers appreciated it and stuck with us and have spoken with their dollars.  http://is.gd/xmzycY

Fact No. 3 - Simplicity in Design
We introduced the "Bottle Balance" late in 2005 and it has been a top ten seller ever since.  It could easily be manufactured from mountain beetle pine and be notched to incorporate photographs to create a striking and functional visual display.  http://is.gd/AeBGtQ
